Hasi Menasinakaayi gojju

Hasi menasina kaayi (bajji menasina kaayi) gojju is a very popular sanketi gojju.
Tastes great with rotti, dose and also rice.

Ingredients-

1. Hasi menasina kaayi 1/4 kg
2. Tamrind - about half handful
3. salt to taste
4. round jaggary about 1/4 ball
5. Grated coconut - 1cup (optional)
6. Channa dal - 1 cup

Method

1. Grind green chillies and keep aside.
2. Fry channa dal and gride with grated cocunut.
3. In a pan add very little oil. Add tamrind and jaggery and let it boil.
4. Add ground channa dal and grated coconut.
5. add ground green chillies.
6. Let it boil very well.
7. Add musturd seeds and asfoetida seasoning.
